Damn Gengar was such a badass this episode. Always love to see that ghost boi get some well deserved screen time.

Legend says that if Ash were to use Gengar for his fight with Bea, Ash doesn't need to use Mega Lucario, probably wouldn't need 3 Pokemon either

Most fighting types can use dark type moves

And even if Bea's Pokemon don't know dark type moves, they have moves of other types, like liquidation, skyattack, bullet punch, etc etc

Bea even has a scraggy and pangoro, part dark types.

+ Gengar is glasscannon, it can be easily clapped

Her grapploct has water type moves and her hawlucha has flying type moves Gengar would have still lost just for them to give Lucario and Pikachu the Ws

Legend also says that Gengar would lose again just like what happened with Korrina and Volkner.

Well this is how you get Shedinja in the games as well so it's not surprising

Games: you get Shedinja by evolving your Nincada into Ninjask.
Goh: gets Shedinja by watching a wild Nincada evolve into Ninjask.

the show did say that it appears in pokeballs when a nincada evolves. ash probably doesn't have a spare slot since he always carries a team of six around.

That's fascinating. It's rare for Ash to be carrying more than 2 Pokemon this season. Generally it is Goh who is carrying an entire party.

Sadly because there is lucario its kinda stupid having two fighting types. Then we got same problem with dracovish, ash got already dragonite. What i mean by stupid it just there less room use pokemons if they share same typing. Should def give some diff typing instead those two. Wish they give him larvitar evolution line always salty he didint catch that larvitar back in johto.

Seriously Dracovish only battle like once, sure he defeated one but we still don't know how strong he is.

I'm surprised and glad at the same time that Goh didn't catch the spiritomb, sadly shedinja wasn't lucky enough..

First of, yeah it made me surprised too, I’m glad and also sad Goh didn’t get spiritomb, For the shedinja part, I disagree, i see Goh’s catches as a little benefit for the Pokémon he caught, having them inside of Sakuragi’s Park allows those Pokémon to have more screen time, mainly the times when they visit them, this is good, making those Pokémon less ‘unseen’ for newer people, example, I’m pretty sure this is my first time seeing a Spiritomb and a Shedinja on screen that’s not just some random appearance, so now, if we re lucky, we can see more Shedinja scenes inside of sakuragi’s park

This episode is awesome, kinda shocked that Goh didn’t catch Spiritomb, but this is better, not because he didn’t catch it, it’s that Spiritomb’s last scene showing he’s just a passenger is so good, this episode is so good in many ways

so we got z move pikachu, mega lucario and now gigantamax gengar. cant wait to see him use all 3 in a battle. kinda sad the other 3 dont get any love or anything special for that matter. but i guess that kinda makes sense, cant have every fight be some super grand display.
